This is the first of six reviews of the MARVEL cinematic universe. Each one will cover a different movie in the run-up to The UK theatrical release of The Avengers, which will be the sixth and final part for the time being.

5. Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)
6. The Avengers (2012)

This first show covers Iron Man, arguably the best of the released movies so far. A critical and box-office high for Robert Downey Junior and director John Favreau and the beginning of a new renaissance of Marvel comic book adaptations.
