The Legend of Korra: Change
The long awaited, much-demanded continuation of the Avatar podcasts is here. We’re releasing four podcasts throughout this month, two each for Books 3 & 4 of The Legend of Korra. It’s the last we’ll see of the series, maybe forever, but certainly for a while, so let’s take our time and enjoy ourselves.
Joining me once again after another year I have my now co-host; Sharon Shaw, Daniel Floyd, the voice of Extra Credits, Joshua Garrity of the Cane and Rinse podcast and The Animation Archives, and Jerome McIntosh, now of GameBurst. Duane Griffiths from the previous six episodes couldn’t make it, but sends his regards.
In this first part we cover the following themes; Behind the scenes and going digital-only, renewal and rebirth, duty and responsibility, family and frustration, anarchy, freedom and control.
Next week; the second part of Book 3.

To be completely honest I’m kind of dreading the final podcast because then I’ll have to face the fact that Avatar is over. The Avatar universe is the most important fictional universe of my life (It got me into animation!) and I want to cling to every moment I have before then. (Silly I know)

Josh (I doubt you’ll read this) I thought Unalaq was more of a Theocratic Autocracy
Oligarchy is more of a small group of people having control of a country, organization, or institution. Which could describe Unalaq if he planned on give Desna and Eska political power but I doubt Giant Unavaatu planned on doing that.

When the Acapella group started singing Secret tunnel I got WAY too excited, I need a cold shower now
Great show as always
