School of Movies: Jaws

What does the adaptation of Jaws teach us about the importance of likeable characters?

For this we look at the differences in character action between the 1975 movie and the source novel by Peter Benchley and how their onscreen personas inform on what happens to them in a movie featuring a giant, character-devouring shark.
